1970년 2월 14일, 북한당국은 납치한 50명의 대한항공 승무원 및 승객들 중 39명만 부분송환하였고, 황 선생님의 아버님을 포함한 미송환 11인은 오늘날까지도 가족의 품으로 돌아오지 못하고 계십니다.

올해도 지속될 국제공론화 노력의 일환으로 "송환"을 직접적으로 요구하는 온라인 청원운동을 새로 시작했습니다. 청원서 서명과 공유 부탁드리며, "21세기의 지성과 양심"에 호소하실 황 선생님과 올 한해도 함께 해 주실 것을 간곡히 부탁드립니다!

Thank you for continuing to support Mr. Hwang Cheol and his efforts! On February 14, 1970, the North Korean authorities returned 39 of the 50 people it had abducted after hijacking their aircraft. The other 11 (including Mr. Hwang's father) were never returned, thus condemning both the victims and their families to half a century of anguish.

Marking the 47th anniversary, we have launched a new online petition directly calling for the victims' "Repatriation." Please sign our petition, and please stand with Mr. Hwang as he calls upon the "conscience of the 21st century" to help finally bring his father home:
