General Contractor – Project Manager
Description:
Busy full service general contractor performing private, commercial and governmental work seeks Project manager with 5 to 15 years of experience as a project manager and must have experience with Public Works, Job Order Contracts, IQC, and E-Gordian. Construction project managers are to plan, coordinate and oversee the entire process of construction projects. Typical job duties include creating budgets and timelines, delegating tasks to subcontractors, and collaborating with other professionals working to complete the project. Construction project managers ensure that all construction projects are completed on time and under budget.
Duties / Requirements:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Knowledge in E-Gordian/JOC and IQC required
• Professional license and/or certification(s) or in process of obtaining is preferred.
• Be familiar with various project delivery methods, public contract code, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Excellent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
• Strong analytic skills in evaluating situations
• Create update project schedules and schedule coordination of various construction trades
• Project budget management
• Development and management of all project documentation
• Reviews drawings and specifications.
• Executes material take-offs.
• Determines quantities of materials and labor.
• Obtains materials pricing.
• E-GORDIAN JOC Experience
• Civil & Water Treatment Experience
• JOC experience
