THE EXPECTATION

• Good interpersonal and problem resolution skills.
• Flexibility and ability to handle emergency situations.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure Infoline call is answered during assigned 4-hour shift between 9am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday.
• Answer and assess calls to determine service eligibility for in-house services.
• Provide referral and/or resource for those who do not require or who cannot be accommodated by in-house services.
• Answer, screen and transfer telephone calls and take messages and distribute to appropriate staff members, as needed.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all current and available community resources; update resource manual, as needed
• Maintain up-to-date outgoing messages, and troubleshoot phone-related issues.
• Represent organization to callers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Record all calls in database daily.
• Complete and maintain all relevant documentation.
• Maintain close coordination and working relations with counterpart counselor at KACS/KCCEB.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 year experience with community-based programs and services.
• Fluency in spoken and written Korean and English is required.
• Computer literacy, including
• Experience in human services, social work, or mental health is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems with creativity, flexibility, and sound judgment.
• Willingness to handle new and evolving duties and roles as needed.
• Experience working with low-income and Korean monolingual population is desired.
